I Love My Job!

I don't have a job anymore, but if I did...................

Spring!!

Well spring is here. The weather has been pretty nice. We've had a little wind, but all in all it's been good. Brian might disagree. He gets to play golf on Mondays at the club where he works and I think the wind has blown every Monday.
Things are starting to look busy. We've got a lot going on this spring and summer. We've got a trip to Texarkana planned. We're really looking forward to seeing Leland, Amanda and Clayton. It's been too long. My Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of April. We are having a little get together for them the first weekend in May. All of my mom's sisters and her brother are planning on coming. We are really looking forward to it.
Tommy's mom's family reunion will be mid June. That will be at Florey Park in Andrews. This will be the second one. Last year was really fun. The Howell family reunion is the first weekend in July. We haven't had on in several years but they used to be great. That will be in Spur. August has two family reunions. The first Saturday in August is the Carruth family reunion. That one is in Andrews, and the second one is the Byrd family reunion which is the very next weekend. The Byrd family reunion is at Possum Kingdom Lake at Rock Creek Camp. We always have a great time there.

It doesn't look like we'll be going to the Kermit Sandhills for a while. The county commissioners have voted to shut down the parking area because of all of the fussing going on out there. One of the landowners said they are going to build another parking area, but who knows when that will happen. You can't unload your bikes off the highway to ride, so I guess everyone will have to wait for a new parking area.
